The DAV-X10 2.1 Channel BRAVIA® Theatre System is the perfect match for those who want big surround sound without the big system. Utilizing S-Force® Pro technology, this elegant system with touch panel controls simulates the surround sound of a traditional 5.1 channel speaker system using just 2.1 speakers. It also includes BRAVIA® Theatre Sync™ for one-touch play of Sony HDMI™ components and can be connected to optional Digital Media Port accessories to expand your listening choices.

BRAVIA® Theatre Sync™

As a leader in products with HDMI™ connectivity, Sony has created BRAVIA® Theatre Sync™ technology to go beyond simple audio and video transmission. When combined with a select number of BRAVIA® LCD televisions and other Sony audio and video products, control functions will also be transmitted via the HDMI cable (sold separately)2. With “One Touch Play”, operations that took several steps have been reduced to one. Press the PLAY button on the remote, watch the audio and/or the video component(s) turn on, then the BRAVIA® television will turn on and switch to the correct video input.2

DIGITAL MEDIA PORT

The demand for digital audio and video content continues to be strong. The challenge: how do you integrate music in various locations into a home theater system? The answer: Sony’s DIGITAL MEDIA PORT (DMP) interface. This proprietary interface adds networking and connectivity options to the home theater systems and components through optional accessories (sold separately) that can connect with various devices. The DMP accessory will provide the ability to control and power devices while making set up easy and operation simple. The DMP accessories will include a PC Client Ready device, Bluetooth® receiver and Audio Docking Stations compatible with select Network Walkman™players and iPod® products. So regardless of where you store your music, Sony’s DIGITAL MEDIA PORT offers an access point, provides control and integrates your portable music into a home theater system.

Digital Cinema Auto Calibration

An ideal listening experience is only a button away. Simply place the included microphone in your listening position, push a single button and speaker position, distance to speaker and delays are automatically calibrated. Sony’s Digital Signal Processing uses feedback between the microphone and receiver to optimize sound settings.

S-Master Digital Amplifier

Superb accuracy using a digital-to-digital process. Clear separation of signals and balanced sound reproduction.
